took the prop off again and split it and roatated it 180 deg to stop the bad vibrations!

all this pick up chatter is making me nostalgic, bits to do on disco, then perhaps a classic restore?


did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!

the front axle stripped hubs off shafts out all the bjs and track rods stripped idler and Pittman arm off dront diff off had a busy afternoon out there in the sunshine

the other diff with the lokka is all bolted in ready to connect the shafts too tomotrow i may change the upper and lower wishbone bushes just because i have them

well i got all the new ball joints and track rods fitted today and steering idler took longer as i drilled tapped and fitted the old grease nipples in the ones that had none fitted why dont they all come with nipples now? cheap barstuards

I got the diff and axels back together tested the new lokka seems ok to me

will fill front diff with the fluid tomorrow letting the silicon cure

I was out there all day what the fook else did i get done forgot now, oh new transfer box roll stopper

I also u seized the top sliders both sides again poxy rubber on them causing the problems
need to do the tracking tomorrow and take it for a spin

tweaked the torsion bars today went from 96cm from ground to wheel arc to 103cm still a bit leftto go if needed, might flip te ball joint in the week too,

also re did the tracking as i wasnt happy with it happier now but its still not perfect

and i made a start on the 2nd bonnet scoop thanks to @Greigboy for the how too pics very imformative
