Its having a nice wash just now - if I go out and turn it round the other side will get done (maybe not)

I think it's originating from the gearbox crossmember.

I realise that does not have an oil supply, but I can't figure out how it's getting onto it. There's no obvious path. I know everyone is gonna say the rocker cover but I'm not seeing it.

And it doesn't help when it's 2 degrees above freezing here in the Highlands and i'm lying on my driveway under the truck....

That's the thing, when I dab my finger in the spots on the drive, its nice and clean almost like a nice EP90, not the very black blackness of my engine oil.

Colin, take out. The centre console etc, get the gait or off the gearbox and check it' s not creeping down from the gear levers

What's the deal with spots and the MOT? Mine are on a totally separate switch, not at all linked to head lights. Will that pass?

Yes, I seem to think there is an issue with roof mounted spots that come on with full beam not being quite legal as far as Mr MOT man is concerned.

But if yours are on a seperate switch that would be okay.

just fitted four new injectors, what a difference, for a long time now the truck has been gradually loosing power which you dont seem to notice as you drive it all the time, the fuel consumption was continually dropping, getting harder to start and smokey, even when I fitted the decat I did`nt notice the difference
took it for a short test run and it feels more lively and torquey and definately pulls better right up the rev range
check again in the daylight for leaks and then hope the fuel consumption is back up nearer 30mpg

oh I lurve me truck
