That guide is based on a truck with the steering wheel on the right side, left side that is

That is a good guide for how to remove the alternator, but as Danne says your power steering unit is in the way so you can't pull it out from your wheelarch. Remove the Turbo inlet hoses and lift out from the top of the engine bay.
