Few issues with my L200

#1 by CNiblo , Sat Jul 18, 2015 8:22 pm

Well got a 54 plate l200 warrior a month ago, brakes went all soft and spongey. Checked brake fluid and was empty....check of underneath and seen a big puddle of fluid rear left. is it possible to get sets that are pre made or simple enough? It's the top section of the pipe that's in the picture that has rusted through.

Also need opinions on the rear shocks....look as though they are done and feel it when driving that's for sure!

Noticed a wet oil stain aswell.....sorry I'm a first time owner so not clued up on the l200 much!

I do know most motor factors make brake pipes up and the shocks are easy to do look in the search for topic.

The rear shocks are not expensive and milners and k and s do the brake lines pre made for not a lot of money either and we get a forum discount.

BRAKE PIPES - http://www.milneroffroad.com/mitsubishi-...set-rear-axle-0

SHOCKS - http://www.milneroffroad.com/mitsubishi-...absorber-rear-0

OIL LEAK - I cannot tell where that is under the truck as its been so long since I have been under an l200 bit more description around the oil leak location ? - pressure wash and clean like a man possessed and monitor closely to locate source would be my suggestion though.

Your oil leak is likely to be the half moon rocker cover seal which is at the rear of the engine and generally runs down the back of the engine/bell housing, and drips out where yours is, very common and a simple fix
