Right I can understand why someone would want to customise their truck with a nice paint job and each to their own (its not what I'd choose)

I used to have a Mitsi FTO and took it to a place in Wishaw. Guy was brilliant; built like a brick sh*thouse and maintained all sorts of rice-rockets.
One day, I was chewing the fat and he said "aye, them gadgies (translate; guys) wi their fckng hame made pieces-o-sh*te"..."
And, he continued; he got a call one day from a gadgie who had a 1997 MR2; "ah needs a new clutch".
So, our friendly neighbourhood auto-maintainer asked him; "for a standard 130BHP MR2, or is it uprated?"
"Aye, man", replied our protagonist; "Ah've got a straight-thru exhaust an 'a that, so I reckon it's making two hunner' horse-poo-er, an 'at".
"OK", replied the clutch-purveyor, "so you'll need the sports uprated clutch, which comes in at £400 and copes with 180BHP+, rather than the standard clutch at £132?"
This caused the rice-rocket-rider to pause.... "Errr, naw mate, mebbes it's nae 200BHP, hud oan while ah try tae remember.... It might be arooon, err, what did you say? 180? Aye, I think I read that the straight-through exhaust makes it about 179BHP...
...fcking fast though, man!".
Ah... the persuasive beliefs of the extended power that an exhaust will offer

35 12.50 15 bf goodrich tyres and alloy wheels ,not far from me , not all aftermarket 15 inch wheels fit the L200 though (ask Jay) but they'd look nice with a set of CCC arches

Yeah nifty motors, he's had them up for a while though so I can only imagine they are a bit rough in the flesh, I think one has the wrong engine as well from memory

SHHHHH that seems to be one of the best kept secrets on e-bay... replacement wing, wellspacedout bumper, new shogun bonnet and intercooler and there is potentially an awesome old girl there.
If the damage is more substantial (front axle/hub damage) there is lots of good strada to break and spares are like rocking horse poo.
