I know I have read it somewhere but I cannot find it, my 'new' canopy has two wires hanging near the bulkhead from the interior light, where will I find the feed wires?

Mine came from the nearside rear light cluster , canopy light would only work with the lights on

My 2005 Classic didn't have any so I wired to the rear light feed, as you only need the canopy light when its dark, just flick the sidelights on.
My 2006 New Shape didn't have any, I wired direct to the battery with an inline fuse.
My 2013 Has a Truckman canopy and it runs off 4 x AAA batteries.

I am guessing there must be something near the bulk head otherwise they would not have routed the wires all the way from the light to the front ???

Mine still has the cable that runs from the back light to the back of the tub , always got caught up on stuff as it lays loose in mine
