Nice work looking very good like the gear lever

Thanks George, it’s getting there. Hopefully the saga of over heating is dealt with for some time to come and I can focus on more fun additions.

Some diagnostic time, I wanted to also get live data on the engine temp and be sure the thermostat is opening and closing as it should. Few brake system error codes which I shall look into over the coming days.

So this evening some goodies arrived in the post, I ordered some LED H4 headlight bulbs, some new super duper (hopefully) 5smd LED bulbs for the dash in blue as the current ones were never quite bright enough and it was bugging me. I also got 2x 3.8" LED work lights which I shall be wiring up to come on with my reverse lights as the 3 rear windows on my truck are tinted and its a bugger at night to see out of when reversing or maybe i'm just getting old!!!

Here is new LED headlight bulbs on dipped beam with roof light. The bulbs I got are dual color which means dipped are bright white and mains are yellow to reduce shadowing at night.

I think so mate, I need to adjust them on the beam setter and see can I get more light to the ground directly in front of me but they are a far cry from the old halogens thats for sure. IIRC from reading through your thread yours looked very bright in pics but could be wrong. Must go back through your thread and find the picture again.
