Seen my mates other day homemade 3" spacers out of 2" box with plates welded on ends and a fair bit of cutting but looks good.
That's a point @alex200 he was asking about shackles I'll get him to pm you once he's upgraded .

What model are you looking to go the 3" suspension lift on...
I know a lot about the series 4 and 5...
I also have all the data to fit 35's with lifts heights and wheel offsets

2010 Series 4 l200 (Triton MN)
If this section is for your mods... I need a full page....
Lets just go for the most extreme mod i have... Methanol injection in 3D mapping

@123hotchef is thinking of doing the lift on a classic, he has a 3" lift already.

How much are you wanting Lee for the 3" blocks etc, I may be interested, instead of the 2" I have.

Ahh the series 3...
i would not go any higher that 2" body lift blocks but thats just me...
From what i know you are pushing to get much more than a 2 1/2" lift out of the sus as it leaves you no down travel and combine that with a 3" body lift that he has already and your past the 5" that your aiming at...

Personally I'm not to struck on the massive body lifts two reasons (1) not so keen on the high body then a huge gap and then the chassis , to me it looks odd (2) I could be wrong on this so will Stand corrected if I am , if you lift the body on 5" blocks you raise the centre of gravity of the main body over the chassis , now if for any reason you happen to hit anything that brings you to an abrupt halt ( hidden object off-road or car accident God forbid ) all that force is now transferred onto nylon blocks and massively extended bolts . With the best will in the world I can't see that the bolts and blocks will be able to stand up to those sort of forces and would topple ripping it all to pieces . I don't like to piss on people's fires this is only an opinion 😀

Whatever you decide it will never be as bad as the truck I saw that had been lifted on wood blocks and threaded bar for new body bolts

The engine would be a bugger to work on with a 5" lift but clutches will be easy to change. Can the arches be cut to make 35s work?
Yeah no worries yozer I'll sort him some shackles if and when he's ready.

With 35s on the gearing would be crap, great top end but struggle in lower cogs, with the extra grip in low box I bet 1st would struggle in mud.

Why would u do that to a land cruiser.

Possible arch mods but would involve cutting into the front footwell probably

So off road would be a clutch and prob a gearbox killer

Lads with the land cruiser were renowned for nasty bodge jobs on 4x4s , where I worked refused to have any of there vehicles in
