Hello Folks,
Am curious. I changed tyres recently from 265X70R16 to 265X75R16. And now the right front tyre rasps on the bumper once in a while when making a left turn. Also, the gap between the tyre and the bumper on the right front side is less than that on the left front. How is this? and this happened after the tyre change. Something I need to change or......

you've gone up a profile with your tyre so now they are slightly larger than before
you may have to trim a small amount off the bumpers where they touch
I had to trim a fair amount off mine as I went up a couple of sizes (pics here ------> g718-tyres-versus.html and here -------> g314-wheels-and-tyres.html )
you may be able to adjust your torsion bars to raise the front slightly to help with this too

So is it not strange that one side does not touch and has more than enough room for tyre and the other side does touch and has limited room? I have adjusted the bars to level it out with the back after I put iron man springs. The truck is level on both sides.

one side of mine needed more trimming than the other so I guess one of my bumper sides has been pushed back slightly at some point in it's life (translated means I drive into stuff)

Aaah! I get it now. One time at night I bumped into a gazelle. The impact was on the right side. Likely the bumper is misaligned from the impact. Will check that first. Thanx @krutly. Much appreciated.

I've no idea what those wagons are all about but wondered if you could just whip the bumper off and shim it?
