So I've have been thinking about making a teardropcamper for a few years now so this year I desided to give it ago
Step one find a tailer so got this Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
Then thought bin it and start properly so I had this made and I put the axles and bits on to it Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Next is the sides
It was time to sort a shape out no plans all 8n my little head the whole thing is Base on 5x10 ply sheet not 8x4

So sides done time for the tricky stuff the roof it's made up of 1/8 ply inner skin 2x1 roof spar then an outer skin of 1/8 ply again the tricky bit is bending it

We used to make fibre glass ones of these for a chap but he was a pain in the arse so told him to take his moulds back.

So sides and roof on it time for the biggest job and most tricky bit the rear hatch
So first take a template off the side and cut all of your ribs and sides Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Next is to fit it to the body I have used a water proof hinge off a horse box

Next was time for a bit of shopping for wheels mud guards and door and window

2mm pvcu door skin glued then a three colour wrap getting done this week in time for the national meet

Also found some nice little mini milalites wheels BUT they did not the hub size so here goes out come the router

It will now be at the national meet for defo but only the outside will be finish
Bit of the bed room will be done but no kitchen will be done

So all the pvcu is on the teardrop now Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
I have started to do the wrap it's going to be three colours with a splash of cartoon thrown in for good measure watch this space
Should be on the road by Sunday every night this week and Saturday afternoon and outside should be water proof and ready to roll
But inside can wait till after my hols
