Cubby hole under the radio

#1 by TwedL200 , Sun Jun 03, 2012 10:11 pm

Hi guys

Managed to pick up a wee midland CB from the market today for a tenner! I'm gonna put it in that cubby hole under the radio but out that it's not deep enough for it to fit in. sooo... How does one remove it? Do I have to take bits of centre console off or will it unclip?

Cheers
Stu

the cubby box clips out, pull it out, I marked the size of my cb on the bottom then cut the plastic, i had some sticky back foam strips that i stuck to the cb to tighten it up in the hole, if you keep the cb to one side you are left with a small storage bit down the side

Just for info purposes, the cubby hole thingy is the same size as the radio slot ( DIN ), I am sure there is enough space for the cables etc behind . this would leave a nice place for some of the extra guages peeps are fitting at the moment.
