Reversing lights

Hello, I have just brought a 2002 l200 02 4life and I have just discovered that the reversing lights are faulty they are very intermittent and sometimes don't come on at all, any body got ant ideas where I should start?

Reverse light switch, o/s near top of gearbox.
You will need a crows foot socket to get it off / on, and a hand the size of a 1yr old baby, or do a 2" body lift and it's easy.

Without a body lift you can't get a spanner on its toooooo tight
