hello I drive a 2006 L200 2.5 Animal ,Or should I say I did .. I have a problem with it smoking really bad so I took to garage who have said its the injector pump ,, So with this in mind I got them to replace it So now truck starts again but same problem smoking ... Ive asked a few people and they have said it needs timing and setting up properly the garage said weve done all we can we have fitted pump and there is nothing else we can do ... am I wrong in saying they should know what to do and there fore perhaps fix my truck as this is what Ive asked them to do or is it a specialists job ... Any thought Please ????

What colour smoke, does it drive rough, is it serviced regular, has it had a de Coke or been checked.

thick grey smoke . was serviced not long ago ..

Dosent drive as not enough power wont rev ..

was it fine before the service ?
did you have the belts changed ?
only ask as it could be your timing is out

could be turbo

Guessing its the curvier model 06 and not the same shape as my Avatar>>>>>>

Could it be a faulty injector?
