Its hi viz boys - but maybe we could use it for an approach to IRN Bru for forum discount? its stuck out west Col, for the foreseeable - as for the classic , I`ve still got it - starts first time no bother and runs about Lews castle grounds as a ferry just now - but is sold and half paid for.

Basil my old man of the forest... Are you going to nuke the new shape? Your fuel cell kind of went off radar after stuff started to go orange

lol less of the old, matey - its gone through my mind Dan - at this moment I`m getting 32.7 as an average, which I wanted to establish before deciding whether, or what to do - I`m toying with a remap, which has been suggested, but with bags of power already it would only be for better consumption figs - which I still haven`t got used to

Sorry buddy, that was meant to read orange. Honest!
You have got to be able to get better than 33mpg. I would love to see just how the new fangled shape engine management system handles the HHO fuel. The exhaust constituents play a much bigger role in them funky modren engines than in the ones they built in the 80s!
You might as well... what's the worst that could happen

HaHa, I see why Raj can only manage 23mpg - if I just run about stornaway doing short journeys, it goes way down when cold to 6.9mpg and as warming occurs and a longer trip ensues, the average improves and I`ve had as high as 45, but over a tank it drops down to 32.7mpg. God only knows what the old truck was doing around town

the only other problem I can see is there is nae room for the HHO unit in the engine bay, so that will require some thought

Iv been achieving 28mpg recently after the full oil change, and driving at 55mph The only place i can think you can fit the bomb is just behind the front grill infront of the radiator, thats where the ozzies fit their extra washer bottle when they put on a winch bumper

my experience of l200`s is quite extensive now, having owned and run a clockwork one, a fly by wire and now this one - my understanding of what happens under the bonnet has, however gone backwards until now where i find myself not opening the bonnet in case the noisy thing inside jumps out and attacks!

Go Compare!
you are a man of taste - however I have to confess that before they softened the lines of the pram design in 2010, I wasn`t really a fan, too many curves. And I do still love the classic design, but the evolution of vehicles equipment make the new shape much more reliable, powerful, comfortable, agreeable, commodius, satisfying, dynamic, efficaceous, and does everything for you - which kind of takes away some of the enjoyment off road, but replaces it with marvelling at the engineering abilities of the machine , instead of the capabilties (or not) of the driver.

@Twed - I `m trying mate but there are many factors in the way re work/staffing issues/distance/ferries etc, but its still in the diary
