I replaced my worn turbo with a milners one. Used a new mitsi oil feed pipe as well. dead cheap from dealer £13. On long up hills I was getting the eml on ,then going into limp mode. All this has been well written up on the forum already. Looking at the codes it was turbo overboost. On trawling the net/forums/articles etc there was one particularly well written article by a professional mechanic who looked at various parameters when this happened to a customers l200. He concluded the brown solenoid on the rocker was leaking vacuum and was hence not preventing the overboost. ...so a quick call to Milners ..£30 later new solenoid fitted. Took it up a long big hill near me..Rhualt Hill north Wales..problem solved. Thanks to all who've written replies to various questions on the forum. It was a great help. Ta N

Interesting. Is there a link to the solenoid you bought on Milners? And did you fit it yourself / was it easy to do if you did?
