Spot lamps

Good afternoon,
On my 2007 Trojan i have a chrome roll bar with screw holes already drilled. Borrowed some britax spot lamps of a friend to see what they look like on my truck. They screwed in fine but the lamp its self wouldn't hinge up all the way, As the bar is in the way. So it was pointing up to the sky. How would i go about correcting this? Think the Roll bar was brought from Mitsubishi main dealer when the truck was brought. Also if any one knows any where i could buy some spots please let me know!

Hi CFR rossi.
the holes in the roll bar are to mount the mitsubishi spotlight mounts but really, you can get a L shaped bracket and use an M10 bolt to mount it to the roll bar then mount the spotlight to the bracket.
there are spotlight mounts available on the internet and are sold at about £20-30 a pair. not sure how much the mitsi ones would be...

What size spots were they CR..

Was it just the mounts being too short, not allowing the movement, or were the lamps just physically too large ?

The lamps been to large the light its self hitting the bar.

Maybe only suitable for 6" or make small bracket shifting the lamp forward so as it doesn't hit ?

right oh thanks. Thinking of maybe making some L shaped brackets up. See how they look then! Then go from there

CR offer the spots up to the bar and see just how far forward they would have to come to work, also sometimes reversing the spot mounting bracket can solve the problem as most sit 'off centre' and turning it round may shift it far enough to allow them to fit.
