Well the finish is in sight, my scrap has all the colour changes taped out and it leaves tomorrow for the booth. I have the sliders to fit, wheels to refurbish and the rear bumper still to make on its return. My brother has been collecting old school stickers for months so hopefully in a couple of weeks once they paint is hard we can sticker and polish it.

First half decent day thereafter I will give it a run out and take some pictures. Thanks for all the encouragement it really helps, especially when you're into a fairly long project as it can seem to big an elephant to eat at times.
The lads on the Surf forum and you lot have helped push me on at times.

Ha it won't be back for a week, basically needs painted and baked twice due to my stupidly expensive paint choice.

Did the drop plate do the job pal?

This is one of the most exciting builds I've seen in a long time. Keep up the good work. Good things come to those who persevere.

Lots still to do and many stickers to finish it off. Not the best of pictures but gives an idea. Painter has done a great job.

Looks awesome Brian, great when a project starts to show all the effort and thought that goes in. This is something that you just can't buy, the feeling of having something different and it's yours.
