Hi all, I still have a problem starting my mk3 trojan, I've charged the battery but she still won't fire, in a previous post I was informed the engine control solenoid might be the problem ,my question is where is said solenoid and what is the best place to source one.
Cheers for any help
Kenny

Thanks for the link Tek76 but the relay box under the bonnet of my bus doesn't match the layout of these schematics, I'd put a photo up but I can't see an attachment option.
Cheers

click on 'post reply' not 'quick reply'
underneath the box that says 'submit' there is a bit to click that says 'attach file' that should let you add a photo

have you tried unplugging your power upgrade chip ? it's not unheard of for them to go faulty
here's a pic of my old truck without the upgrade chip
the ECU is the bit with all the yellow plugs that go into it
your yellow plug will be going into the upgrade chip (silver box with a pink dot on it joined to another box by a braided cable)that will in turn plug into the ECU
I am assuming that yours is a classic not a newshape ..... being 07 it could be either ....... rear doors nice and square = classic ........ rear doors with a big curve = newshape
if you check my gallery, the red over silver is a classic and the white one is a newshape, or pram as we refer to them------> g195-Krutly.html

Hi all, just an update regarding my l200 non starter. After checking any and all circuits and relays etc in both near and offside footwell's a call to a local auto electrician a poor connection was discovered on the ignition side of things under the dash meaning the fuel solenoid was not getting a feed, a quick clean and check and after 4wks she came back to life. 2hrs and a brew or two is all the 'leccy took, good value I'd say. Thanks for the help as it meant the 'leccy didn't need to check all of the systems as they were OK.
