So.... I bought a 2003 k74 4life (non runner) to slowly do up... replaced the lockset, diesel pump (massive thanks to all of you for the posts on how to time it) replaced the belts and seals etc, took it for a spin and the brakes failed. Little bit of poo came out.
Brake lines rusted above rear crossmember (look great everywhere else!). In whipping them off I see a bit of corrosion on the fuel line too... has anyone replaced these and how did you route them.....the rubber hoses won’t pass through the old chassis clips I guess? Zip tie to the top?? (Must be a better way than that?)
