Hotchef, was from a L200 and got it second hand with the help from Kurt.

Not sure about rock slider's but you never know.

Noeleen isn't too keen on the bumper but likes the new wheels.

Well, back out in Afghan for a few weeks!

Got just enough time to decide what the next jobs are for the truck other than electrics!

Nice, I like the new bull bars, my father in law who lives in West Australia has somthing very similar to your ARB bars fitted to his Hilux, those things saves lives out there when Kangaroos just out in front of you!

Off topic, but what you doing with your old chrome bars?

Already gone to a good home I'm afraid.

My mate has had his eye on them for quite some time, also tried to get me to give him the standard 18" alloys! No chance of that though.

@LezT

Rock slider's, is there enough room to put checkplate ally on the topside when they are fitted to a truck?

If so, seriously thinking about a set and putting said ally on to keep the Mrs happy or she won't be able to climb in the truck, she only has ickle legs.

Well, back home again and the truck need some TLC!

Changed the alternator only to discover that the bottom pulley has decided to let go and needs changing before it fails completely!!

Parts on order from Milners, so, by Wednesday, should be fitted and able to use the truck again.

Well, new bottom pulley fitted and ready for antifreeze tomorrow.

Forgot to order the O seal that fits the pipe in the thermostat housing! Doh, and for a change, local mitsi garage doesn't have it in stock!

Also forgot how hard it is to get the pulley bolt out! scrapped knuckles later and its out. used the chance to complete some other jobs like fuel filter change.

Let you know how the test run goes tomorrow.

On top of all the other things needing doing, started the truck this morning to find that the thermostat has gone! Bloo*y truck.

Still, thats why we love them! Even went as far as looking at a Barbarian Black in red or blue! Then saw sense and just waiting for the parts to arrive and might be able to start the truck tonight.

It used to but now with the big tyres on, Noeleen struggles to get in the driver side (knew it would work).
