Well that's it the cobra has left the building. Along with all the spaghetti style wiring just need to order a decent remote locking kit now

You could try fitting one of those passive car alarm, the ones that unlock when walk up and touch the door handle.. Like this..
Werbung: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Smart-Key-...%3D262176191224

dont think I could ever get along with those sort of alarms
I had one on the mustang(s) I drove earlier this year ...... how many times did I pull the handle just to check I'd locked it only to find it open again ?
I ended up having to walk away from the car and then get mrs krutly to double check that it was locked ......... ever frickin time we parked it

Would have thought they'd want all the switches connected to test what they need?

He tested the front daytime lights as fog lights even though I told him they technically aren't fogs he ignored me and tested with them on, but wasn't interested with the 4 spots on the roll bar, as they aren't oe and where blanked off. We have had this before with cats, one does one doesn't scenario.

Same garage categorically tell me if I take cat of they will fail it....its a joke really , surely all Moter's should be working from the same set of rules and interpreting the same? but then again in the Double Glazing and Glass industry we have the same problem with different inspectors let different things through.....

Same in most things. There's a rule book written but it's down to the individual on how they interpret it,

He passed it with a cat on two years ago, and when I took it off he checked the stats and shrugged his shoulders and passed it, can't work out mot testers or the mot test itself.

Its the same as gun licensing and any legislation written by Government, they make it so vague and open to interpretation that they cannot be held accountable if it goes wrong.

middle dash is back in after 6 months of being out the yellow clocks are also in, all switches are in and working took some time to work out where they all went again, wired up a new volt meter and a new outside temp gauge wired up the switch for roof led bar and the switch for the rear work lights
