after 2 days of working on the VW it was time to fit the remote central locking kit which came yesterday, took about a hour with tea and works a treat might fit a buzzer so i can hear it lock, indicators all flash nice blue flashing led when it is locked not bad for £8 2 remote controls also has a boot release function a bell function and window rise function not sure if this will work on our trucks though

had the trucks nose up for at leat ten mins with a leaf spring on the gas to keep the revs up it took the ten minutes to get up to 83 deg C when the thermostat finally opened
