When i first completed mine i remove the rubber gaitor from the console and it's kinda like crimped on, and trimmed the opening of the console so it was larger and ran like this before i properly sorted the levers out.

I am going to get one of the new tyres fitted to the steel rim and do a test fit to see how much i need to lift the suspension in order to fit all 4 tyres.I have still got to raise the bumper yet but hopefully it will be enough to squeeze the tyres in

Hi, I'm going to try to attempt a 2" body lift tomorrow, I fitted the extended flexi brake lines for the front today, That ended up being a complete mission! I don't know about anyone else but nearly everything was seized right up, especially the nuts that join the flexi hose to the solid brake line, plus they are that small that I was close to rounding them off, which would have stuffed everything right up. I ended up having to quit doing the rear flexi as the nut at the top pretty much did round itself off, so that flexi brake line is stuck on there now, might have to take it to a garage to get it off.
Anyway I just have a quick question for anyone that has done the body lift. I was looking at the nuts I need to remove to then put in the spacers and the two on the tub nearest the cab, one each side, seem to be right up in a recess, are they reachable by a standard socket set with an extension? or am I looking at having to go buy a really long socket extension to get up in there?
Also are there any other tips for removing the bolts or are the rest all straight forward?
Thanks, Greg

you should be able to reach those and all the others with a standard socket set and extensions.I did the one side(drivers side) first and left the bolts in on the passenger side to stop the cab or tub slipping over.Just undo all the nuts and take them off and leave all bolts in place.Jack the one side up and fit the spacers and refit new bolts and just put the nuts on a few threads and then do the opposite side the same and then go round and do all the nuts and bolts up tight. You will need to do something to the gear levers aswell or cut the centre consol bit out so you can get into 2,4 and reverse gears and also into H2

the front two bolts on the tub can be more easily accessed if you remove the front mudguard on the rear wheel arch.
