Hi just looking at an l200 to tow no more than 2400kg maybe in fields from time to time , was thinking an automatic would be best , but have been told manual would be better!! Any input would be appreciated d

Hi I've a 2010 l200 auto, towing is a little unstable at speed but nothing to worry about, main issue is autobox overheating after long distance or steep long hills. Looking at fitting a aftermarket oil rad as already upgraded the intercooler and stuck an Ali rad in but still overheats. Towing single axle caravan about 1500 in weight.
