the outer tin bit is drilled to balance it they are all different this one has 2 shallow holes the last one had 3 they drill to remove metal to balance them. possibly if you got a cheap one it was not balanced but genuinee mitsi ones are that is why they cost upwards of £80

tightened up the wheel bearings and set the end float as the mrs was getting horrible vibratons and droning at over 40mph

truck 1 had some love today
new rear diff oil
new front diff oil
new gearbox and transfer box oil
new inner cv boot
new bottom ball joint
greased it all up
need to take it all apart for a new front diff seal though I fukced the current one up numpty!
4th gear is back at the moment too

drove it today it goes like the clappers compared to my truck! any way just ordered some new struts for the canopy as it dont stay up,
also forgot to say i did the cv boot and ball joint but the seal on the front diff is fooked so i need to strip it again to replace it.

Fitted new leaf springs and some G shackles to the truck today had a leaf snapped for far too long now

well the truck has been throughly cleanned top to bottom more so on the bottom now air drying ready for some chassis and undercarriage treatment

did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!

hmm, disco had some love, looked at it , washed mirrors and walked away, oh and backed it into neighbors wall!!
