I've finally go my rear bumper bolted up to the truck. I just need to find some end caps for the open end and fit my cut down reflectors and my fog lights.

Next challenge is a front tubular winch bumper, I need to finalise plans though and decide if I'm moving the intercooler or not.

measure the ID of the tube may be lucky and be able to get a set of truck / trailer mud wing stay blanks

I've been looking at plastic blanks but as it's pipe sized I can't get them in the right size. I'll weld some sheet on there once I get a chance.

scaffie ones go over the end ebay has ones that go in the end if you search

You can get both end caps or mushroom caps, the latter hangover the edge though

How many do you need and is it just the end caps, if your in no hurry I can get you some and give them to you on the 8th green lane day @WelshMart

If not just go to a scaffolding company with a few quid just in case they ask for money, but I bet you would get half dozen for nothing if you ask nicely lol

I missed this, ordered a pack of 4 off of eBay last night. £5 delivered on Thursday so not too bad.

Yes not a bad price, truck is now also insured for another year tganks to A plan for sorting me a great price again with all mods declared.

Morning guys, hope everyone is well. I've not been on here in a while, work changed our allowed internet sites and this one got barred so I wasn't able to get on as much. Nothing really happened with the truck other than it getting more beat up from the abuse I've given it, I need to get round the bar work and bash plates with a lick of paint as its got surface rust from where the paint is scraped off. It's gained a lot more forest pin-striping this summer too... Mechanical wise its now got an annoying oil leak, doesn't leak much on everyday driving but once I take it any distance it'll lose around 1/2 a litre, been in to the garage once and they couldn't find it, I'm going to have a good look this weekend.

I've just had a weekend in mid wales in it and it performed great and was one of only two trucks to make it up a difficult, slippery rocky lane but it showed up to me again why its not working as a family truck. Its also come home with the dreaded flashy green 4x4 light which started half way through Saturday.

I'm thinking that once I've sorted the few issues above it'll be time to sell the truck on and move on to something else 4x4...

I know. I love it. It works well but it'll never be what I want it to be... I was never meant to get as involved in it as I have... I'm also hoping my next toy could have a v8 in it....

Not sure my budget will stretch to a nice v8 land cruiser but I do like them and the Patrols. I have a feeling I might be tempted over to the dark side with a green oval...

There's a trip around the Bridgenorth area early in the New Year on the Staffs page, opening early December if you are interested.

Just read through your thread from start to finish, you've done great with that truck and made it into something pretty cool. Sure you will be sad to see it go but if needs must then needs must. Better to sink your money into a truck that does everything for you than trying to make one something it will never be. I was never crazy about PRAM shape L200's but having read through this I may be coming around . Whatever you get keep up the great project work and most of all enjoy it.

Cheers, I will be sad to see it go as I've put a lot of work into it especially as there isn't much on the market. Needs must though, the pick up life just isn't working for me. Anyway the deed is done, advert written and put up on Facebook, so far not so many numpties and dreamers about so fingers crossed for an easy sale...

Ok, so it looks like as of tomorrow evening I will no longer own an l200... I'm delivering it to someone in Rugby. I've been hunting for the replacement and fingers crossed I'll be going to look at something on Saturday afternoon...
