just to replace the chrome one and the towbar
but would you not pay more for a jeep than wot you could sell yours it's just the front end articulation on the truck if it had a better front end they would be sound bud

It is my daily but it's only 7 miles each way to work. They are an expensive toy but I didn't pay anywhere near the market value so after 3 years of use I still stand to make a tidy profit. I'd estimate it to be worth around 5k? So if I could get that for it I could afford a jeep and a car for the missus once we've sold her car too.

So after another trip out laning, Shropshire this time, the truck again performed great. However with the whole family, dog, picnic, coats, changing bag for the little one etc etc the cab felt more cramped than ever. With the leaky cover the tub is only good for things that can get wet and dirty not useable stuff for the family so I'm seriously but loathingly considering selling up for maybe even a Disco (still looking at whats about as I dont like following the crowd). I hate this question but what do people think my truck is worth? I've got a figure of around £4.5-5k in my head but I've seen some higher spec ones recently struggling to sell... What do you guys all think?

Yes, I do love this truck and the fact that its not what everybody else uses. It's proved itself to be extremely capable on every trip I've been out on, it's just the useable space that frustrates me... Maybe I should look for another canopy and tigerseal the crap out of the join and toughen the dog up...

why not no reason for the canopy to leak mate, you could always run a decent power supply to the new canopy and get a wee ceramic heater for it when its really cold, good for the dog and any wet/damp gear u may have

My canopy had a slight leak that I couldn't ever seal, I bought a couple of big plastic tubs for stuff that needed to stay dry and bungied them in place.

I'm still not 100% decided what to do but I think I'm going to put it up for sale and see what happens.... Do you guys think that £5k is a fair asking price? 96k miles, well looked after by fleets before me, cam belt done, recent top end rebuild, and the extras I've added....

Ok I've done it, the truck is officially for sale... I've put out some ads on various Facebook groups, one guy seems interested but i think he could be a dreamer (says he's got a landy for sale and wants a pickup).. I'll leave it on Facebook and spread it about a bit for a week or so before I put it on eBay, don't really want to pay eBay fees to sell it on there if I can help it...

If you don't mind slumming it in a classic, I would be more than happy to give you the seat. You can take the CB mic and lead the group.
