Big thanks to Pete @Hornstar for sorting this out for me.........Was mainly for use with my tyres off road, horns are a big bounus....And hopping to mount an air suspension kit at the rear in future

Hi all, got told I need to stop hoarding stuff and use or get rid as room is running out to keep it....
So......this is not an essential part to have fixed but box kept being moved around so I put it on truck yesterday....

Think it was the only solid part of the truck, got a new hole saw and half way through snapped drill bit and two teeth on the hole saw.......
Today just gonna change rear brake shoes and oil and filter change....Don't want to do anything else to make sure I can be at the meet Saturday morning

New shoes now on at back but one of the cylinders is seized on one side, will get them changed before Friday. All I have is to do oil/filter change then ready for national meet Saturday 😊.

After the news on the chassis was not sure what to do....my MOT tester has marked out what needs doing ( the dreaded yellow chalk) and its only in two spots.
After a chat with Mrs T ......expressing her support if want to go ahead and try repair the truck I have started to buy some proper kit for welding
1st new arrival today

And a basic pipe bender I ordred before the bank holiday

This is what happened when I was checking chassis just before the lakes event 😞 (at the back just before leaf spring hangers) so need to cut out and refabicate around chassis. Will be looking at alternative suspension systems too.

Yep, should have bought a workshop before the rust bucket mate...but just see it as a chance to mod without losing anything, then it's just a toy and don't need it as my daily drive only use it when I'm at home/weekends

Well.....not done any work on trucks for 4 months now. The rust bucket is parked up needs welding but my car decided to pack up yesterday morning, think it's injectors.....not a cheap fix.....sooooo.....
I've booked the truck in for MOT tomorrow at 1:30pm hope weather is dry today, I will just patch up to get through and clean brakes up.
