I've used (read bodged) fire cement on an exhaust before with no problems

So I fit the de cat pipe today used the fire cement all good no leaks even used the shims that they send as gaskets and kept the gaskets I brought for the stainless exhaust for truck 1

it was wickes gloss non drip for wood and metal went on well was a bit lumpy think its probably 10 years old!
