This evening I got the rad out belt covers off I flushed the engine block and matrix as I will be changing from Oat to old school blue coolant
The engine block drain is a tight bitch!

made progress today with new cam belt, balance belt and tensioners, new water pump new stat new bottom pulley,bolt and washer, new power steering belt new alternator belts cleaned the rad inside and out. man the new alternator belts were a tight fit
need to fit the rad and intercooler and get the coolant filled up tomorrow and hopefully it should breath

I drilled my stat before I fitted it , I cut off the toggle and drilled it out to a slightly bigger hole . It allows permanent flow of water and cools the water before the stat opens . It works well but over cools the engine in winter so you only have Luke warm heater

fixed my flashy light used a egr/ boost solenoid i had in my box took the good one off and then moved the exhaust to it switches the right way and made a lil loom and cable tied it up for now, i seem to be eating the solenoids dont think the cheapy china ones like water but 10 a go now too bad.
talking of the flashy light have you thought about extending the loom and fitting them up on the bulkhead or even in a box so they dont get wet ? might do this on mine only need some twin and some solder

fitted the power upgrade
tightened the P/S belt
fitted 2 new fog lamps in the holes
