Not a truck (no longer own one) but the car, oil and filter change, installed LED dipped beams and CREE reverse lights. Also discovered a broken coil spring.

This is her step , she will not pose on it and called me the nasty C word when I took the pee , in her defence she has fibromyalgia and has been struggling for a while to get in it

Washed the truck again ... second time in a week. Must stop driving like a whack job through the fields! Did the PCV filter on the Landie, cleaned out the EGR (it was caked) tested it with my vacuum tester. Pulled a couple of door dents out of one of the other cars. Good productive day. I'll pop round the pub after dinner and sink a couple of well deserved pints (or more)

I started life with nothing and I still have most of it left!

Finally tried the 2" lift today
What a load of Bollox,,,,,,,after nearly two hours I finally managed to get the nudge bar of seized bolts broken knuckles no skin ha fookin ha. Started on the cab lift first, undid all the mounts and then from the rear of the cab started the lift on the near side, all was going well up to the front passenger one when I noticed oil leaking on the floor, oh double fook the flexi brake pipe had ripped it was that tight, no worries I thought as a little while ago I had bought some new braided hose off xpajun. Treble fook, the joints where also seized solid no worries I thought so out came the hacksaw, then I couldn't undo the metal brake pipe from the old flexi pipe so ended up cutting them off aswell. So off to the local car parts shop and had pipe made to do both sides, thinking it will be the same on the other side, after nearly 3 hours the brakes had the extended hose on both sides job done.
Back to the lift,,,,,,,,quadruple fook,,,got the spacer in the next mount and then on to the front mount,,,,the car lifted off the ground trying to get it high enough to get the spacer in,,,,after an enormous amount of teddies had been thrown I now realised the front bumper will have to come off,,,,no worries I started to remove the bumper and after 5 sheared bolts and 10 hours I decided to remove the spacers I had already put in clear up and I will have a truck to attend the meet tomorrow.
So jobs achieved extended brake lines and the nudge bar removed time from start to finish 11 1/2 hours,,,,,,,,,, fook fook fook.

Major, you can see now why I decided to just stretch my bumper rather than undo all the snappy bolts
when I did my lift I cut a couple of dozen bits of wood for packing and lifted each one half an inch or so in turn making sure not to twist the cab and cause a possible donkey moment with a cracked windscreen
mine took about 3 hours start to finish then changed the hoses at a later date (after I'd done KORC)

The brake flexi was like a bow string which was the cause of it ripping no where near enough to do a 2 inch lift.
As for the bumper I will wait for better weather then strip it and renew the bolts and re bracket it

it's funny how even in trucks that should be identical there are small differences like how long the brake hoses are and stuff like that
did you remember to take the lower cowling off the radiator too MM ?
