it's funny how even in trucks that should be identical there are small differences like how long the brake hoses are and stuff like that
did you remember to take the lower cowling off the radiator too MM ?

Don't know if you remember krutters,Stormforce had a 2.5" body lift and his brake lines were as tight as guitar strings. No idea how he got away with that..?

@Major Malfunction make sure you check your vaccum pipe thats behind the intercooler on the bulkhead.
mine looked fine then a week later i pulled off my dads drive lost the brakes, had my boy in the car too. lucky i was at rolling speed and slowed on the engine and got back had a look at the pipe had popped off and was way too short.
could have been real bad if happened in the lanes or motorway, even if it looks good pipe is cheap extend it dude.

I've unbolted the metal pipe off the block for the moment on mine , gives enough slack for the vac pipe

I've spent over a week scraping off the old underseal and rust on the chassis of the truck , finally the big day has come to start spraying the shutz and cavity wax . And this is where it all went wrong , I forgot to put the board up against the folding camper 🙈 I've spent the last 20 mins with white spirit getting black dots off before the wife finds out

Shutz is on the chassis and all off the camper now , 5 litres of the stuff sprayed everywhere . My chassis was surprisingly good once I'd got all the old stuff off

If I had known you had alloy valve caps I would have done you a great deal on new ones to replace the ones you would have had nicked last Saturday

No fear of these getting nicked, they are yellow.....and match the bull stuck on the side of the truck.

Any takers now.....

Fitted my new cup holder, interior led glovebox and ashtray lighting and started putting the dash back together. Also got my steering lock sorted by adjusting the stoppers and tightened up the front wheel bearings to remove the play. All in all not a bad mornings work. Aluminium radiator fitting this weekend along with LED dash light bulbs, vibe rear speakers to match the front and hopefully get the light bar wired up.

Oh and also received my L200 members pack today along with sticker and key chain, thanks a lot Chris, nice little surprise
