RE: What have you done to your truck today..? THE BLOG

on my mate's truck we
changed the anti roll bar bushes for poly bushes
removed and blanked the EGR and cooler
fitted HID bulbs in his headlights (I'll reveal more in the donkey of the week thread)
thought about winding the torsion bars up then didn't bother

on mine we replaced the dodgy red leds in the backs of my spots that had stopped working (one had stopped working 2 years ago at kirton)
changed over the brackets holding the spots as 2 had split
replaced the white side light leds in my spots

That's because I'd cleaned it first, plenty fell out the inside of the bumper.

They would have been better if they were like the ones in your pics. Did not like having to cut the bumper out but had found it must have had a knock as the bumper was split under the old overrider

Decided to have a play with my welder this afternoon and made one of these....

[[FileSC_0107.JPG|none|auto]]

It's a bar to mount my led light bar on, it'll attach to the number plate mount, I've just got to tidy up some of my welding and paint it up.

It's a Clarke 150e turbo mig, I bought it with a mate about 8 years ago. It sits in his unit though as he uses it regularly, so it's not often I get to play with it.

Moved the boost gauge out of the mitsi pod into its own one on top of the dash and now starting on the oil pressure one

Finally wired up the oil pressure gauge, either my engine has a terminal oil pressure problem or the cheep arse Chinese pressure gauge is a worthless piece of crap . It goes up in steps like its sticking and never gives the same reading twice , buy cheep buy twice
