just moved washer bottle . Not as quick as suggested, horn needed to be moved, couple of brackets, but easier to 'extend water pipes etc than trace back. (pics in gallery)

Wenn Sie hier auf Links zu eBay klicken und einen Kauf tätigen, kann dies dazu führen, dass diese Website eine Provision erhält.

I used some foam pad sandpaper things to take the oxidisation off
then some sort of wheel thingy that I bunged in me drill and a block of metal polish
I'll take pics of what I used if anyone's interested but it looks like this -----------> Werbung: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alloy-Wheel-Po...7MAAOSwVL1V~YFZ
there were 3 or 4 mop thingies and various clay bar things but I could only be bothered to use the one

yeah, I took the heavily pitted laquer off a couple of years back when I did a "quick refurb"
just thought I'd give them a good polish as I borrowed the stuff off my mate after seeing how his M5 alloys came up using it

After replacing my fuel tank the other week, thought that I would strip the bits off the old tank. It turned out to be a grinder job, somebody had welded the tank suction stack in place! Amazingly the seal was in perfect condition. The sender unit was easier, just a case of splitting what was left of the nuts.

I did nothing to the truck so it gave me a kick in the rollocks , bloody engine has started to rattle bad at 2500 rpm and low oil pressure , if I had a gun I'd shoot the sodding thing . Rebuild or transplant on the cards now 😢

While waiting for some bits to turn up to start my engine diagnosis I decided to get on with my diff lock switch , the one I was using is the aircraft one on the console but it was a pain to reach down and switch on when driving off-road. The new one is now mounted into an auto shifter and the aircraft switch is now the master power so it can't be flicked on by accident , all I have left is to tidy up the switch mount and then I have a thumb operated rear diff lock .
It may seem a bit strange doing this before the engine is fixed but hey ho I had the parts so why not
