Cleaned the mud out of drivers foot well from Sundays green lane trip and tried to T-cut the passenger side in an attempt to hide the scratches from a particularly scratchy lane... Trying to avoid the daggers from the missus everytime she gets in...

will you have a truck each for the over landing

No but it would be great if she is some what useful should anything go wrong, Nothing worse then being stuck in the middle of a Moroccan Desert with someone else who is no use, It's happened before when I took my motorbike overlanding and the other person I was with was less than useless when it all went wrong in the middle of a Desert.

@Lemmy that's got to worthy of its own thread. Ideas materials etc.

I keep thinking a couple of rows of this in the back of my truck would secure most things -

Then drove about 80 miles listening to 80s rock to get my little lad to sleep.

Apologies, I was on my tablet and it's a pain to do it here.

You can pick it up on Ebay, it's got a variety of names, either tie down strips or aircraft tracking.

I made a spare wheel mount for the back of the truck, I had another design in mind, but in the end just went for a 24mm bolt through the centre of the wheel, and a 12mm bolt that goes through the wheel nut hole. The 24mm bolt holds a plate against the wheel which takes the weight and it also has a 10mm hole drilled through it for a padlock. The 12mm bolt isn't load bearing at all it just has a wheel locking nut on it as another layer of security from thieving scum.

I didn't realise I had ordered a stainless steel 24mm bolt, but I attempted to drill the 10mm hole with a HSS bit anyway, 1 hour later and about 5mm into the bolt I gave up went and bought a cobalt bit and it went through in a few minutes
