Mitsubishi haven't supplied the DVSA with data about cat fitting for pre 2005 trucks, so by default they can't fail us with decats.

Today I stated mine on 75% veg at 0C and it thrummed into life first whiff of the key.

Everyone seems to reckon soya veg gels at those temps but my collection of sample bottles with differing ratios of veg/dino are all still runny as Lez's arse after a night on the vindaloo.

I've got plenty of diesel on standby so I can dilute it right down instantly if there's a sudden temperature drop.

...been to the local garage; changed the oil, fuel & air filter, replaced all the liquids that needed replacing & few more bits & bobs, cleaned the engine & greased where it needs to be... well, greasy.

...but still no luck on locating the old "wet-weather-only" clonk.. ... Gotta leave something for next weekend or so, aye... ;)

Fitted the 285/75/16 coopers with 38mm spacers today, slight touching when turning so cut the sill etc back and now she's perfect. Leaving it on the standard wheels too as it looks good. Will get pics tomorrow
