Last night I decided to fit the towbar while I wait on some info on my running issues.
The previous owner (from new) never had a towbar - no use to me without one!
I'm pretty sure my scissor lift wasn't intended for this purpose but it worked well
Straight forward job, even the bolts from the under run bar came out without a problem
Just need some engine power or the towing may be embarrassing

gave my classic a service today and freed up the sliders as they were doing anything but sliding, replaced 2 dash bulbs that were flickering, replaced 2 red bulbs in the rear of the roof spots that had blown, cleaned and hoovered all the inside and put the spare wheel back underneath again

ya not wrong there bud , classic is much nicer to look at (my opinion of course) but the pram is nicer to drive
plus my pram is much lower to get in and out of
part of me says I should keep it and use it at weekends

Make it a hobby truck and mod the nutz off it, or make it a proper off roader with some of Alex's parts.

fixed my oil leak finaly. thought it was the oil pump drive scored and letting it thru crank seal.
all set up with a pulley puller after smashing bit of the pulley through the radiator last time as it wasnt moving and had to give up till another day...
yeah they slid straight off..
got it clean built it up with the covers off and ran it till i seen it ...
turns out when i had my belt done there was a bolt missing that the balance belt tensioner bolts up with and oil was coming out of it. bit of rtv and a new bolt job done.
also found most the oil pump housing bolts niped and not tight so did them too.
so a radiator and 3 seals and a oil pump drive to fix a bolt some c*nt left out.
shold have made the time to just do the belt myslef as ive had to do it twice now lol

Fitted and wired my reversing camera the other day, sorted a DAB radio with bluetooth and run the mic/aerial wires properly, next job is the front bumper off to fit the lightbar. Anyone got any how to's for bumper removal?
