After a complete faff of trying to get four bikes in my canopy , I decided to put that in storage ( in the garden lol! ) and fit some bars. I think I prefer this look

Was a bit of luck to find some ' bungs ' that fitted so snugly. Securing it down through the tub wasn't too hard either thankfully. Managed to reuse one of the originally canopy bolt holes, and some nice external grade stainless M8's

Thank you for the Bars Mr K

I agree, ebay gumtree and look at nearest first as they are big bulky things that'll cost for postage

I imagine mine will have the bars on it more than the canopy, only really had the canopy for the dogs, but our biggest dog can't stand up straight in it easily! I decided the dogs can go in the wifes freelander instead lol!

Dave , make sure you tell the missus that you've not put bigger tyres on, you've just replaced the smaller tyres that the previous owner of the truck had fitted that were the incorrect size

just about everything on my old truck that I added was something that had been 'removed' by it's previous owner and I was just putting it back to how it was meant to be

Unfortunately that excuse has worn thin, she knows nearly every nut and bolt on the truck, she brings me cups of tea while I work on it

The insurance is cheaper than the tyres
