I remember that one, 'twas up in weston and the guy wanted something stupid like 10 grand for it as it had stupidly low mileage too

There's a post doing the rounds on Facebook, bloke has a "New" defender. Unique opportunity. On further reading, it's an 06plate which has been driven to France and stored. So "New" actually means 12 years old, with low mileage. And the punchline? He wants £35,000 for it. Bwahaha.

Only been on a few days But the brakes are noticeably a lot better I can now hit the brakes knowing it will stop
This is only my opinion but I am pleased with the difference

Not done to much to it lately, sorted out all the niggles for the dreaded mot and the old girl passed again , didn't expect to much wrong as it's only done about 2000 miles since the last one

I've had to take the freewheel hubs off after one shattered, thought the upright bearing had gone and then found this mess .the other side was still in one piece but the teeth were worn on it . During my day of disasters also managed to break the rear diff lock , engaged it then spun one back wheel before it had gone it and bang , not sure what busted but it won't engage any more and clattered on the drive home .
Managed to get it back to its disengaged position by jacking up one wheel and rocking it back and forth.
In summary I've fixed nothing and broken loads 😁

I'd prefer not to say where they came from but the brand is visible in the photo, I don't want to dirty a company name as they may well not stock that brand anymore

A while back I finally finished the refurb of the alloys that were bundled with the truck and fitted some bigger/better tyres (still a bit small, but you know what they say about that eh?).

Finally been clearing some scrap out of the woods up in Wales. Single cab to the rescue - do I win the prize for the dumbest load?
