It’s coming along. I’m getting the hang of stuff. But I’d be real grateful if someone could explain to me how to put multiple pics on one post using an iPhone. Also how to put them on so they’re not sideways.

So got bored with the current power. Turbo has run out of puff. Currently building a custom exhaust manifold to hold a Borg Warner s200. Few pics of the build

Fine if you go back to #167 and use the original!

Well the bloody spigot bearing decided to shit itself on Thursday. Whole clutch out for a £5 bearing. Got all gearbox off today so hopefully get it changed tomorrow. And hopefully it is the spigot and not the gearbox shaft bearing. Watch this space for mega rants. Luckily it crapped its pants Thursday and I picked up me new van Friday. It still drives fine but makes lots of poorly noises when you have the gearbox engaging or disengaging. Good thing with now not needing the truck as my daily driver means I can start getting all the turbo setup on and ramping some serious power out of it. Should get it done before Chrimbo. Il get some vids up when it’s all alive again.

Very good thread and no messing about, I would like to do something similar as mines sitting with the engine out and haven't the heart to sell it for nothing as the trucks in very good Nick.
Do you know how much longer the 606 engine is?

It's very high quality work there Oliver. Makes anything I've ever done look very amateurish.

Had to re build the top half of the stainless exhaust to accommodate the new size turbo and different position

Done away with the standard lift pump as it will need more fuel to feed the bigger turbo. So it’s goanna run a Bosch 044 with 6AN lines. More than ample. Also done away with the standard stack pipes and build some custom stainless ones so I wont get any future issues. Hopefully have the thing back on the road soon and ramp some power out of it. Although the bloody MOT has run out now. Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

You're either obsessive, or it's a labor of love. Either way, nice clean mods and upgrades.

Now I got a van as a daily driver I have time to get stuff done cos I don’t need the truck back on the road for Monday mornings. So cos I have time I do a better job and think things thru. Makes a big difference. Before everything was bodged to shit. Lol

Yea figured it nicely now for what I need to do with it. . Still a hell of a lot to learn tho. More like an art that takes years to master than welding. I still got a long way to go with the learning. Got s 50mm core ally rad to build next so we will see how that goes.
