I finally cut out the last bits of the front bumper ,unfortunately I've had to use two alloy plates to cover the holes where the old spot lights were . I have future plans for these.....

Seemed a bit lazy to start on Monday morning so I fitted a new battery (the old one looked furred up between the plates) turns over faster now and my headlights seem much brighter, still pish though.

Price might be a worry though for pump repair and cam belt kit etc.

Depends what's wrong with the pump, Feather injection want £595+vat for a exchange unit or £180 for inspection plus parts and labour to repair.

I have a spare in de shed but unsure if its a go er ( ebay bargain) i am hoping the fuel shut off valve is duff/ stuck on the on the one that's in. Got the fuel light on dash. Fuel at filter head trough to top of pump but none coming through to the injectors. Clutch is on the floor, spent £180 to get through mot. As Jon said looking at 1k to garage it. Whats it worth 2k. might keep it as a toy and see if i can fix but weather isnt helping decisions decisions. cheers guys

Don,t normally this time of year. Its was 160 mile trip half tank dino 8 lts veg added once warm so less than a 3rd. Nowt really intended to fill back up near home ie flush. Was very mild at the weekend. I have never run more than 30% and only on a long trip ie no stopping and starting.

Left my truck at a garage that specialized just for Mitsi 4x4's, decided to change a crapload of stuff while it's there ... we found out I've been actually driving with a snapped balance belt for some time..

Yeah, damn lucky.. glad its getting sorted out at last.
Finally I've found a mechanic that knows what he's saying and knows the truck inside out to its last little piece.

Hehh.. they did 6 in the last 10 days, I bet they could squeeze you in somehow ;) ..heh, I actually saw one right hand drive L200 in the shop with its engine just out for replacement...

And to stay on topic, just forwarded my front push-bar "design" to the welder... to see if it can be done till my truck is back.
